Woven by the master weaver and artisan, mother nature, the endless carpets of flowers and lots of butterflies all around the Kaas Plateau will sweep you off your feet. The name Kaas originates from Kaasa tree, botanical name Elaeocarpus glandulosus. It is home to about 1500 species of plants including 450 species of wild flowers out of which 33 are endangered.
