Foldscope – Origami Microscope wakad
The future is now, and It is glorious! What is the Foldscope project? The foldscope is an ultra-low cost microscope made from common materials such as paper. It is designed to be produced affordably, to be durable, and to give optical quality similar to conventional research microscopes. Maker’s Club is proud to bring their first ever foldscope workshop where the
participants will make their own compound microscope with paper which is at par with the expensive microscopes. These microscopes are light, durable and best of all you can take it everywhere you go. In this workshop kids will understand the concepts of microscope, assemble a microscope of their own, collect and test samples as done by the real researchers. Finally a discussion session on how, why and what next?
